SJHA Varsity and JV--The Pride of Staten Island

The St. Joseph Hill Academy cheerleading program, which hails from Staten Island, NY, includes both a JV and varsity team. Each season, Hill JV enters a number of competitions throughout the tri-state area, including a national competition in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where the team has taken first place several times! The Varsity cheerleaders spend the season competing at various competitions as well. Most notably, after receiving a bid at UCA Regionals, they travel to Orlando, Florida for the National High School Cheerleading Championship, high school cheerleading's most prestigious competition, where they were named finalists for the first time last year! Both teams are proud of our cute but secretly viscous mascot--the Koala!
